As a member of our Strategic Development Group (SDG), the Senior Sales Manager will be responsible for driving new business and expanding current account sales of physical risk management professional services solutions to meet individual and/or group targets for assigned industries and/or territories; directing client needs assessments; scoping prospective engagements, developing proposals and negotiating project contracts. This is a tactical, in the field, in front of the customer sales position for someone who has a depth of experience and sales knowledge in risk management professional services. He/she must possess a balance of analytical problem solving skills and strong interpersonal and relationship development expertise. This position is responsible for managing the complete client relationship from prospecting to the moment the sale closes through implementation and beyond. The position will manage client relationships from the CEO/CFO/CSO level down to middle management.

 

The ideal candidate will have a successful track record for developing relationships at the "C" level and for working and winning large complex accounts. Demonstrated ability to understand sales strategy and drive the sales process by conveying risk management solutions in executive security, business investigation, and crisis management; some background in these disciplines preferred. The candidate will be an analytical thinker with skilled knowledge of the physical risk management industry and the ability to succeed in the sales cycle that involves both “inside sales” (phone) and “outside sales” (face-to-face) activities.

Responsibilities

The SDG Sales Manager is charged with performing all sales activities that lead to profitable revenue and market share growth. Teaming with company subject matter experts, the principal activities of the SDG Senior Sales Manager will include: Targeting potential clients and expanding current accounts by evaluating their business needs; researching and analyzing sales options; developing sales strategies and managing the pursuit and proposal process; facilitating client meetings and serving as a value proposition expert; Become a trusted advisor/partner with each of his/her assigned clients by providing support, information, and guidance; researching and recommending new opportunities and resolving customer satisfaction issues including pricing/scope disputes, quality issues, project closure and account collection.

Requirements

To qualify for this career opportunity, candidates must have: - a Bachelor's degree (MBA preferred) – 4 to 6 years of senior level consulting and/or senior business development in professional services experience - strong professional services and solutions sales experience in the risk management or similar services sector (Minimum of two years experience in the physical risk management market preferred) - a proven record for selling services and solutions at the "C" level and to a sophisticated audience - demonstrated ability to develop sales strategies and drive sales processes - strong relationship-management and teamwork skills - Display high levels of energy and drive, thrives under pressure, with strong business acumen, aggressive nature, strong process orientation and excellent verbal and written communication skills - Good technical skills with ability to develop presentations using Microsoft Office Suite and online company technology - Ability to work with little supervision, while maintaining high productivity - Comfortable in a fast paced, results oriented environment - Willingness to travel up to 40% of the time within the US

Job Location

We are expanding our sales group in North America and will be looking to fill positions in California, New York, and Minnesota.
